AW86HS Series — 86mm Stepper Motor with Precision Planetary Gearbox
The AW86HS series pairs Apexwell's NEMA 34 (86mm), 1.8° hybrid stepper motor with an HPS90 precision planetary gearbox, offering motor holding torque from 2.6 N·m to 11.0 N·m and rated output torque up to 100 N·m after reduction. With two available gear-train stages and reduction ratios from 4:1 to 70:1, backlash is held to ≤15 arcmin at no load, making this the highest-torque frame size in Apexwell's precision planetary gearmotor platform.

Two current ratings (5.0A and 6.0A) are offered at the 80mm and 118mm body lengths, letting the same body length be tuned for either higher torque or lower current draw.

Momentary torque moment is rated at two times the rated allowable load across both stages. 12 reduction ratios are available in total (4 to 70:1), with rated output torque reaching 100 N·m at the highest 2-stage ratios.
