The AW39HS series is Apexwell's NEMA 16 (39mm) closed loop hybrid stepper motor line, pairing the motor with a built-in encoder for use with an external driver. Across six body lengths from 20mm to 54mm, holding torque scales from 0.086 N·m to 0.45 N·m — a 5.2x range — positioning this frame size between NEMA 14 (AW35HS) and NEMA 17 (AW42HS) for applications needing finer torque granularity than either neighboring platform offers.

Every AW39HS motor integrates a selectable-resolution encoder (500–2000 PPR) as standard, letting the driver verify actual rotor position in real time rather than assuming the commanded pulses were followed.
