AW20HS Series — NEMA 8 Stepper Motor with Hollow Shaft
The AW20HS series is Apexwell's NEMA 8 (20mm) hybrid stepper motor line built around a through-bore hollow shaft (~Ø16mm), letting cables, optical fibers, pneumatic lines, or a pass-through mechanism run directly through the rotor axis instead of routing around the motor. Across three body lengths from 30mm to 42mm, holding torque scales from 0.011 N·m to 0.020 N·m, making this the smallest frame size in Apexwell's hollow-shaft stepper lineup.

Typical Applications
With a through-bore hollow shaft on a NEMA 8 footprint, the AW20HS series fits small rotary stages needing cable or fiber-optic pass-through, compact camera and gimbal joints, miniature slip-ring-free rotary connections, and light-duty winding or labeling equipment where routing cabling around the motor isn't practical in the available space.
