Multiple Speed Control Modes
The BLD-750 supports several speed control methods to accommodate different motor control requirements. Users can select the built-in potentiometer, an external potentiometer, an external analog signal, or pulse frequency input for speed adjustment.
The SV interface supports external potentiometer, analog signal, and pulse frequency speed control.
Motor and Control Interfaces
The BLD-750 provides dedicated interfaces for BLDC motor phases and Hall feedback signals.
U / V / W: BLDC motor phase connections
REF+ / REF-: Hall sensor power and ground
HU / HV / HW: Hall sensor signals
F/R: Forward and reverse rotation control
EN: Enable and slow-stop control
BRK: Brake stop control
SV: Speed control input
COM: Common 0V reference
The F/R input controls motor rotation direction, while EN and BRK provide stop and braking control.
Speed Feedback and Status Output
The BLD-750 provides SPEED and ALM output signals for system monitoring.
The SPEED output generates a pulse frequency corresponding to motor operating speed, which can be used to calculate motor RPM. The ALM output is 5V during normal operation and changes to 0V when a fault occurs.
Protection and Alarm Functions
The BLD-750 provides multiple alarm indications to help identify abnormal operating conditions, including:
Overvoltage alarm
Power transistor overcurrent alarm
Overcurrent alarm
Undervoltage alarm
Hall signal alarm
Stall alarm
Multiple alarm indication
The driver uses red LED flashing patterns to indicate different alarm conditions, supporting troubleshooting during system operation.
Environmental Conditions
The BLD-750 supports natural or forced-air cooling and is designed for operating environments with temperatures from 0°C to +40°C. The recommended environment should avoid excessive dust, oil mist, and corrosive gases.
Why Choose Apexwell BLD-750?
The BLD-750 combines DSP control, flexible speed control, open- and closed-loop operation, motor protection, and multiple control interfaces in one BLDC motor driver. Its 18–52V DC input range and maximum 25A output make it suitable for systems requiring control of 48V BLDC motors up to 750W.
