Speed and Motor Control
The BLD-300B supports multiple speed control methods for different system configurations. Users can select the built-in potentiometer, an external 10 KΩ potentiometer, an external analog signal, or PWM speed control.
The driver also provides adjustable acceleration and deceleration time, selectable motor pole pairs, and maximum output current settings to help match the driver to different BLDC motor and load conditions.
Direction, Stop and Braking Control
The BLD-300B provides dedicated control inputs for motor direction, stopping, and fast braking.
F/R: Controls motor rotation direction
EN: Controls motor stop and restart
BRK: Provides fast motor braking
SPEED: Outputs a pulse signal corresponding to motor speed
ALM: Provides a fault alarm output
The SPEED output can be used by the control system to calculate the actual motor speed, while the ALM output changes from 5V during normal operation to 0V when a fault occurs.
Protection and Alarm Functions
The BLD-300B provides protection and alarm indication for common operating faults, including:
Overvoltage
Power transistor overcurrent
Driver overcurrent
Undervoltage
Hall signal error
Motor stall
Multiple simultaneous alarms
The driver uses LED flashing patterns to indicate different fault conditions, helping users identify the cause and perform troubleshooting.
Typical Applications
The BLD-300B is designed for equipment using medium-power low-voltage brushless DC motors, including:
Industrial automation equipment
Conveying and feeding systems
Pumps and fans
Medical equipment
Laboratory equipment
Electronic equipment
Robotics and motion-control systems
OEM machinery
For applications requiring a smaller BLDC driver, see the BLD-70B BLDC Motor Driver.
Why Choose the BLD-300B
The BLD-300B combines a wide 18–56VDC input range, up to 15A output current, open- or closed-loop speed control, and multiple speed adjustment methods in one driver platform. Its adjustable control parameters, braking functions, speed output, and alarm feedback make it suitable for integrating BLDC motors into OEM equipment and automated motion systems.
