AW90BLY Series — 90mm Brushless DC Motor
The AW90BLY series is Apexwell's 90mm-diameter, 4-pole brushless DC motor line, offered as a standalone motor without a gearbox or brake. Unlike Apexwell's other bare-motor frame sizes, the two models in this series are not a simple body-length family on one shared voltage and speed — they span a wide performance range, from a 48V/1,100 RPM/69W low-speed model to a 310V/2,700 RPM/904W high-power model — so each model should be evaluated on its own specifications below.

Torque constant is 0.27 N·m/A (AW90BLY75) or 0.91 N·m/A (AW90BLY160); back-EMF constant is 21.9 Vrms/kRPM (AW90BLY75) or 60.6 Vrms/kRPM (AW90BLY160). Rotor inertia is 2.1 kg·cm² for the 75mm model and 7.1 kg·cm² for the 160mm model.
Wiring
Each AW90BLY motor exits with a star-connected power cable for the U/V/W windings and a separate Hall sensor cable (+5VDC, GND, HU, HV, HW) at a 120° Hall electrical angle for standard 6-step commutation.
Typical Applications
The AW90BLY75-411 suits lower-speed, lower-power applications on a standard 48V supply — small pumps, fans, and light industrial drives supplying their own external reduction. The AW90BLY160-627 targets higher-power industrial equipment running on a rectified 310VDC bus — hoists, large fans, and heavier direct-drive or externally-geared loads needing nearly 1kW of output.
